I know they eat insects and all that, but they leave crap all over and sometimes they get in the house, and they just look creepy. I don't think you can get rid of all of them, but this is what I did to reduce the population. Replace all your outdoor lighting with yellow bulbs which don't attract insects. Once their food supply is short, most of the geckos will go somewhere else. The only thing else I know to do is to mount sheets of sticky paper (like the kind in glue traps) where the geckos congregate the most.

If you mean geckos, you shouldn't. They live around houses, sometimes under the siding, and eat some of the bugs that you don't want around anyway, like spiders and mosquitos and ants. They aren't harmful to anyone or to your house. Why do you want to get rid of them?

I know they occasionally get in the house, but you can just catch them in a paper cup or a tissue, and put them back outside.
