I think it was a great way to really teast a new product.
Why did you hate it? Did you get to test the handling, speed or performance?
Why isn't safety a concern for you? Do you want the guys you love to watch drive around end up permanently injured or dead?
Cut them some slack dude. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

i own a shop, and id say we,ll see some drastic changes in cars in the next five years, they have already talked about a lot of the changes,as for the car of tomorrow,it wont be what were driving today ,that's for sure,i think the fun and the sport of driving will be put back in to driving, its just something we all have to wait and see on,for now the cars are getting a little better,at least better than 5 years ago,i think they,ll combine safety with everything else, and come up with a real fun car to drive, for now we drive what we have to,good luck hope this helps

gawd they sure got butt ugly over the past 20 years or so, first the aerodynamic teardrop look and now the skewed 'lederhosen' front ends, one or two here and there would be unique until every Chrysler adopts the 'I pulled my pants up to my neck' look, there were some years in between where things were ok but when will they ever go back to making aesthetically pleasing cars instead of these fugly hulks?
As for sport, fuel conservation does come to mind, we could stand to lose some power so long they don't take it all away, I'm all for maintaining the superior handling standards thou.
As for safety, I am glad they think of everything under the sun in order to attempt to prevent us from sticking our fingers into the electric socket, but the day a car demands of me that I not drive it my way is the day I will not buy said car.
