Actually, the very first thinkg to pop into my strange little mind was toilet paper, but upon some real, although short, thought, I'd have to say electricity. I could never live without that for long.

Seriously, though...there have been so many...I think traveling to space is pretty spectacular. My dad was an engineer on the Space Shuttle, and he says that when they were designing the thing, planes had only achieved Mach 1 or Mach 2, and they were designing and building something that would go Mach 17. Quite spectacular...

There are too many but the best thing is probably the entire water system that brings water to every household so people don't always have to go to fountains. We don't appreciate water that much anymore, you know?
