Depends on what you like to do for fun! There is a great upscale shopping mall, Cherry Creek Mall, as well as the Cherry Creek North neighborhood filled with boutiques and restaurants. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the Denver Zoo are about a ten minute drive away up Colorado Boulevard - great exhibit on Benjamin Franklin at the museum right now. Downtown Denver's only a ten minute drive away too - Denver Art Museum, 16th St. Mall, LoDo, all right there. If you have a car, drive outside the city to places like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Golden, Boulder to hike or sight-see. Add some info to your question on what you like to do to get the best answers!

I hope you are bringing alot of money because the only fun thing to do in cherry creek for a tourist is to shop and its not cheap shopping. Really, denver has many more interesting places so dont waste much time in cherry creek. Do some of the things mama gretch suggested.

Red Rocks and the Morrison area is awesome to visit. While you are "out west" you could visit Golden too. Take a tour of the Coors plant and drink a free beer.
