no danger to wear a thong, just, please, i saw a 40yr old woman and had nice dressy clothes on, but a old nasty pr of thongs on and her pants were so low you could see her thongs hanging out!! grosss!!! so don't dress that way and you will be fine!!!
oh, and there are MANY different types of thongs, so try to buy different ones, as i prefer the ones with a bit of fabric in the back, and not the T.

I read that the "thong" part of it can do something. There not bad but they suggest that you change between thong and regular underwear every other day

I like wearing thongs, can't wear regular panties anymore. The only danger is if you don't wipe thoroughly enough and get poop on the string part. That could be unhealthy.

A thong can spread bacteria from the anus to the vagina, causing an infection.

Gynecologist usually don't recommend thongs. The reason is its easier for bacteria from your anus to travel to your vagina. Therefore, causing an infection.
The choice is really up to you though.

No! They are just uncomfortable at first.. they take some time getting used to. But there is no danger to them! That's just silly.

Sleeping with them is a bad idea, but I agree with what someone else said, try a bunch of styles and see what feels most comfortable to you.

this might sound gross, but they can cause rashes because of the rubbing of the string (down there). you can go ahead and wear it, but make sure you don't wear it at night. and for every day you wear it, make sure you wear regular underwear as well!
