Isn't Al Gore an extremist in his global warming war? Do
you realize his plan would cost a $300 billion tax increase?
How many people think his plan is worth paying that much
extra taxes? I don't think he plans to adhere to the changes
he wants everyone else to make.

Why do we hear so much about global warming and nothing about this? What is the democrat plan for fighting terror? I assume they will repeal the Patriot Act, eliminate data mining, make law enforcement get court orders for wire taps. What will we do with the terrorist we capture after closing Gitmo? Will they be tried in court? How will we gather evidence and witnesses?

Global warming is NOT accepted by the scientific community. I hear more scientists refuting the idea than embracing. Of course the liberals justify their fantasy by saying all the nay saying scientists are bought by the oil companies! Would you rather have higher taxes, alternative energy sources that are highly inefficient, and a sh*tty economy because some wacko says we are the cause of global warming? I don't!

Al Gore is a hypocritical egomaniac that just cares about his agenda. Gore is one of the main share holders for the company that sells carbon credits! Don't you find that to be a little to convenient?

Who is going to pay for the rebuilding of Iraq in 50 years?

How about social security?

Bush's tax cuts haven't done anything except cost the middle class more jobs.

Gore isn't the president, but somebodies going to have to start building walls around the coast if we don't do something eventually. It's pretty much accepted by the scientific community that global warming is real, which will cause at least some increase in sea levels.

It takes money for this stuff.

But if you have an optimistic outlook, that money goes to pay people to build, engineer, create, sell, and advertise.

He's not an extremist. He just wants everyone else to be. Extremist "walk the talk". He doesn't.

He flies personal aircraft, lights up his ranch like a small city, and owns more cars than some small dealerships. He claims to offset his carbon footprint by supporting tree growth, but he'd have to grow enough trees to cover the state of Rhode Island to offset his waste.

Besides, if he felt that his "carbon offsets" will stop the global warming that he spouts off about, why isn't he suggesting that as a national solution?

Most of his movie "facts" have been disproved, and most of his personal "environmental morals" were broken before his movie even aired.

Sorry, Buttercup, but global warming is real, it IS a real crisis and we don't have a lot of time to fix things.

There are NO reputable scientists who doubt global warming.

Bush The Lesser's idiot war in Iraq has already cost far more than 300 billion.

I know there are some scientists employed by oil companies and other large polluters who say the problem isn't that big or that imminent, to which I can only say "When the crib is on fire is not the time to speculate on the non-flammability of the baby."

Well lets see the present idiot admin. pays $3.00 a gallon for keeping it's military in routine manuevers consuming some 2 billion gallons of gas a year that contributes to global warming. Okay that comes to just $6 billion for the war machine. Let's drop the war in IRAQ and curb the militaries desire for more oil we would probably see a gradual reduction in global warming right off the bat. But let's stop spending all that money on weapons of mass destruction and use it to save the planet..

Seriously, what good is the military anyway when the planet is fried? The DOD budget is some 500 billion annually. Turn it around and we save the planet.. Not just protect the idiot regime and it's brigade of insecure rich neo-cons.

There are people here in central Alaska who walk or ride their bikes *all year* - even in -40 temps. I have all the respect in the world for them - they are practicing what they preach.

Most greenies just talk the talk. Oh, yeah, they might get a hybrid or even an electric car, but very few are willing to give up the car altogether. If you live in a major metropolitan area with good public transportation, and you choose not to use it, you're a huge part of the problem.

Of course, the Hollywood types *could* quit being hypocrites and give up their private jets...but, no - they'd rather you and I make the sacrifices.

Watch his film then do some research to debunk it...I bet you'll be unable to unless you find some obscure erroneous information. If it's wrong, it's wrong...but don't decide this on a political basis...fact is fact...you can ignore it and it won't go away...prove he and many scientists are wrong, but statement such as i see here against man-made global warming are mere attacks on environmentalists...Gore has laid it out rather well...if you disagree with a fact, then you are an idiot...or worse so selfish you would sell your grandchildren's lives for convenience today

He's a hypocrite...His house uses 20 times more electricity than the national average! Global warming isn't real. The Earth warms and cools in cycles, but we still have to use less electricity because that pollutes the environment.
