I bought Gordon's Lightfoot's~Complete Greatest Hits for "If you could read my mind" and that song is on there. The CBC commissioned Lightfoot to write "The Canadian Railroad Trilogy" for a New Year's Day program celebrating Canada's Centennial in 1967. The song originally appeared on his album~The Way I Feel.
