What should I write about?

So basically, i am extremely unimaginative and uncreative when it comes to writing. .. i always have writers block. I have to write a story thats really short (1-2 pages) to immitate the style of maya angelou. It can be about ANYTHING. What should i write about, and what are some good key elements of her writing that i should pick up on?

She is introspective and writes about her own life experiences. I don't know your age, but surely you've had at least one life experience that you are able to look back on with a deep sense of revelation of self. Maybe not, but you could make one up too. Good Luck.

I love to write about random things so I'll tell you about one of my favorite all time papers I've done!

Tropicana Orange Juice is one of the best on the market. So I did some research and looked up how the oranges are harvested and the juice process etc and then made myself the orange and walked though the entire process in the paper. It was a really big hit and I got a great grade.

Write about trying to come up with an idea of what to write about. About going through the process of elimination, all the way to the "A" that you plan on getting for such a great writing. Start with the assignment being given, and what thoughts went through your mind, and just go from there. Good Luck. (if you do this, I would like to see your final draft.)
