can someone help me with my video ipod?

ok so i lost my ipod in my house somewhere and i can't find it, i retracked all my steps and possibilitys of where it could be.so i was wondering is there like a device that i could buy that would detect my ipod or a number i could or something to make it beep

you could but for a lot of money. Jails use them to search for cell phones in cells. The pose a threat to workers.
