A friend of mine is currently living in LA and might be going up to Alaska for the summer for a job. Am wondering how long it will take to drive from LA to Anchorage. Thanks in advance

Alaska Airlines flies direct non-stop service...

Driving from LA to Anchorage will take 5 days if they put their foot on the floor and cruise. It is about 4000miles (just under but close enough).

If time is not a real issue... Take the Alaska Marine Highway out of Bellingham, WA.

Check out some previous questions on the "questions" side of my profile listing more info regarding the ALCAN Highway and such.

If you are talking about Los Angeles...

I don't know how long it will take but the I-5 is the fastest way to get north from LA, and I believe it goes up to canada (at least)
