how can I know the specific driver like audio in my pc... so how can I retrieve this driver and where and how can I find ?

take out the pci card or if it is on board then you need to look for the modle of the mother board or look and see who made it and then go to the web site and dowload them until you find the one you are looking for if you need more help let me know at this email adress spiderguywv25802@yahoo.com

Your sound driver should be on the CD you got with your computer. The restore disk should have the drivers on it. Short of that you can look your computer up on Google and see if there are drivers on the manufacturer's webstite. The link below has lots of drivers for different hardware you could look through there for a driver. You didn't say what operating system you are running. Vista doesn't always work with XP drivers.. I had problems with my soundblaster drivers when I upgraded my computer to Vista, with a little patience you should be able to find a solution. Good Luck

if audio was already installed, it should be still on hard drive in windows. Just delete driver and when you reboot windows will find audio device and re install driver for you. If the driver is lost then just reboot and let it re install.

u can install or repair ur audio driver from the OS cd...thats if the audio card is part of the motherboard. if is it on its own, then u need that CD to install the driver. just head into control panal, administrative tools, computer management, device manager, select ur audio hardware, right click it to either update it or repair it.

right click my computer go to hardware, and go to device manager, you will see the list of all the hardware on your computer, or replug the audio device and reboot your pc
