how long do u have to keep a piercing of an ear in for? because i'm currently playing baseball which doesn't allow for jewlery during the game but im about to have a little more than a week off for spring break...is that enough time?

NO, It takes months to heal before you can leave it out. Mine will still almost close up after 20 years if I leave them out for a long time.

Absolutely not.....Its way too short of time:) You must wait exactly six months before a hole heals to be able to put a ear ring in and out or it will hurt bad as hell. Its almost like you are getting it pierce over and over again. So let it heal and you will do fine SMILE.

I had my first set of double piercings in for about 2 weeks and i changed them out too soon. They bled when i took them out(yes i cleaned them and they were 100% gold, small studs) and closed up...be sure to clean them daily...

my ears needed a month too heal, but then ahain do did my belly button and theyre two different size holes. so it just depends on how well you take care of it and how easy you heal

At least 3 weeks before you take it out. But! you can buy clear hole savers at the local department store.

it really depends on how quickly u heal...i know that mine took about 6-8 weeks, but several friends of mine took even longer than that!!! i honestly don`t think that 1 week is sufficient time!!!

why dont you just tape up your earlobe or something. so they wont get you in trouble or anything
