I cannot stress this point enough...CONTINUE THE PURSUIT OF YOUR COLLEGE EDUCATION! The only thing that comes "once in a lifetime" is death. A college education is an absolute must have.

Once in a LIFETIME, there's a reason it's called that. College will still be there. I've been lucky to have done some world travel, and the places I've been, I'll probably never get to see again. Unless your education will allow for similar travel, it's hard to turn down. Life experience can be just as useful as education.

You can be 80 years old and still go to college. This "once in a lifetime" experience won't be there for the taking forever. If you believe this is worth taking some time off from college, then do it. If you don't, you're just going to finish college and wonder about what would have happened if you did take that opportunity.

Once in lifetime work experience and continue college education, one class at a time if you have to and/or online if you need to.

Depends on how long the work experience will last.
If it's a career, and you'd be happy with it the rest of your life, then go for it.
If its a job that will only last a year or few years, and you can go back to school to finish your college education - then go that route.
These days, though, its probably a better idea to finish your college education. It just makes you more competitive if your work experience falls through.
