I would sit with my grandfather enthralled as a boy. Especially when he would go into a ball...you just knew he would wait then explode. Almost 60 years ago and I can still remember.

Allllright! Lou Thesz was one of the trailblazers! Along with Classy Freddie Blassie, Lou Albano, Nick Bockwinkle, Stu Hart, Fritz Von Erich, Ivan Koloff, Buddy Rogers (the ORIGINAL Nature Boy), Killer Kowalski, The Missing Link, Blackjack Mulligan......wow. I'm gonna have to break out the OOOOLD NWA, AWA, and Legends of Professional Wrestling vids now. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! By the way, Steve Austin has the best Thesz Press in the business.

I'm not old enough to remember when he was wrestling but have read a heard quite a bit of this legend. Jim Ross still uses "Lou Thez press" in his commentary when a wrestler uses the move.

I remember Lou Thez. But mostly down here we were "Raised on Rasslin' by Dick "The Bruiser." Guys like "Bobo" Brazil and "The Freight train" Rufus R. Jones and "The Gentleman" Paul Christie. (This guy was one of the best "Primadonna" style wrestlers!)

I don't remember him, I'm pretty old but I think I'm to young to have seen actually wrestle because he's way old, but I have read and heard a great deal about him. He's a legend and people named moves after him, like a long time before wrestlers had their own moves named for them, right?

Lou Thesz was great. He should have been the first WWE Champion instead of Buddy Rogers.

Of course I remember him. One of the great old school wrestlers of alltime before all this crap you see nowadays.
