Shouldn't it be the same? The aircon takes in air, be it through the room or from the outside, and runs it through a compressor to drop it's temp right? since the thermostate is the same, shouldn't the temperature be the same? but we do feel colder in the same room in a rainy day right? Or is it me?

The humidity in the air makes you feel the temperature more, so on a rainy day (high humidity) you will feel more chilly than on a sunny day (low humidity). It is felt by many people, so no, it is not just you. Good question.

There are 2 possible reasons.

1. If the blinds are open, solar radiation (reflected off of concrete, asphalt, grass, water, etc) is absorbed by you on a sunny day and makes you feel warmer. You may not realize it but reflected radiation contains quite a bit of heat.

2. The humidity on the rainy day. When cooled by a compressor, the cooled air has a humidity of basically 100%. Some of this makes your clothes damp, giving you a clammy, cold feeling as it evaporates again into the air.

That is your imagination. Think of humidity on the outside as of cooler temp inside.
