You need to look at the emission & absortion spectrum around the points of resonance.

You might also look at thePassband and Phase Shift graphs of a Quartz Crystal Filter. The simple ones used in Receivers such as the HRO are easier to understand when you are starting out!
(Also ook at the complex dielectric constant.)
