One day I felt a pain in my penis as it gently rubbed over the surface of a counter as I was standing. I went to the washroom to check the problem. I was surprised to see a significant size bump on my penis, approx. an inch away from the pubic area. It's about 6mm in diameter, and has risen about 4mm(in height) at present time. I started out as about a couple mm less, but in about a day grew slightly larger but has seemed to seize growing. I noticed an almost black colored spot in the center of the bump. It's about 3mm now but it once was about 1 mm. Surrounding the bump is about a half cm of redness, slightly swolen.
I'm very worried if this is more than a popped blood vessel, if it's a tumor or something. I believe I received it after masturbating, I think it was done too intensily. So my guess was I popped a blood vessel. Is it most plausible? If so, how long could this last, I'd appreciate any constructive feedback thank you.

Possibly, a popped blood vessel. Or quite possibly, an ingrown hair, or an irritated blackhead. But, it's nothing to play with (no pun intended.. LOL), so go to see a doctor to be sure. It could get infected if not treated.

I would get to the er before you get gangreen or something and have to have it cut off.
