My boyfriend has really sharp chest pains all of the time - even if he is just sitting there.... he wont go to the doctor cuz he did 2 years ago for the same thing and they told him it was growing pains.... his heart is beating like super fast, and I'm worried... does anyone know what this might be or what might help him?

It could be stress, or he could have a SERIOUS heart condition. Chest pains are nothing to play around with. The fact that he has a fast heartrate and is just sitting there may indicate a problem. Go to a doctor and get it checked out!!!

Hello, i know this may not seem like a straight answer, but i used to get those all the time when i was a kid. It felt like a electrical shock throughout my chest, i could not get up ..i was in soo much pain. If i was him, i would get a second opinion. It could be his diet, it could be anxiety..so many things. So hopefully he will go see a doctor, good luck to the both of you.

could be a heart deffect/irregular heart beat....did the doctores 2 years ago do an EKG? if not he should get one asap....growing pains would not cause a racing pulse or sharp chest pains....he needs to see a doctor.

The doctor will. Sorry, but do not ask about these types of questions. No doctor will actually answer you. They will not give out medical advice over the INTERNET or phone. You need to have your boyfriend get checked out. Tell him to go. No ifs ands or buts. Get a second opinion.

he should get to the emeregency room A.S.A.P i would rather go to the doctor and have it checked and be told it is nothing, then to wait until it is too late and end up in the morgue on a slab

Most of the time I've found from experince from myself and others, it's just good ol' gas.
