I am not particularily good with planets, or seasons/climates... so... --.--;; (Please, if you can, give an explanation if possible.)
1. How do clouds form? (I know that it is a basic question, sorry)
2. Why does it rain on the windward side of the mountain?
3. Why is it dry on the leeward side of the mountain?
4. Why is there high pressure at the poles and 30 degrees north and south of the equator?
5. Why is there low pressure at 0- equator?
6. Why is there low pressure at 60 N and 60 S?

thank you.

1. Clouds form because of the collection of water vapor in the air, which comes from being evaporated off the surfaces of the earth, and waters.
2. Usually the wind is bringing in the clouds filled with water vapor. As they hit the mountinous area, they are forced to move upward along the mountain. As the could go upward they cool and that cooling forces the water vapor to move together. The droplets of water become too heavy to stay in the air so it rains.
3. It is dry on the leeward side of the mountain because the water was rained out on the windward side,so by the time the air mass gets over the mountain it no longer has very much moisture.
4. The air over the poles is dry and cold. Dry air is more dense than wet air. Cold air is more dense than warm air.
5. The air at the equator is warm and moist. Wet-less dense air, warm-less dense air.
6. The convection currents caused by the heating of the earth's surface. The air from the north and the air from the south are both rising here, reducing the pressure at this place.

1) water evaporates and becomes water vapor
2) the mountain effect takes over and the wind blows the rain to the windward side
3)same as above
sorry dont know the rest
