Factory settings typically are not by pressing F8. Go to your manufacturer's site (each one is different) and it is typically a combination of keys AS the MFG's LOGO flashes...... Each Mfg. is different.

to do a factory restore you will factory restore disks or a built in system restore on your computer usually located in D drive.
