You connect your router to the cable modem itself (via cat5 or ethernet cable). I prefer my linksys wireless router, it works very well, no problems in over a year and a half.

I wish I knew what psp is!

I have a Netgear router that I am very happy with -- it was about $70 at Best Buy.

I was having trouble, always losing my internet connection. I was calling Netgear help every day for about 10 days. The next day it would be gone again. Some guys here told me to get rid of McAfee. I did and it has worked great. If you call Netgear for help, they answer you in the Philippines.

Good luck with you psp.
