When I read e-mails or messages from friends I know they just seem like different people.

Yes, and I know I do too. ON the Internet, no one knows who you REALLY are in your REAL life. Plus a LOT is lost in typing that you get in real conversation, facial expression, the way you say something, sarcasm most of the time is lost, etc....

I don't know anyone on the Internet that I actually know in real life. I like to think I am a pretty good judge of character and I try to stay away from the ones who freak me out.

Yes all the time but people think am more funny online and relax and kool online than in real life..... I like the online me than the real life me.... Online people can be totally fake and you really have to look at the bigger picture but this is not my idea of a good time!!!

Sometimes, It's just easier to decieve people on the internet because you don't really have to face them. You could be truthful because you're afraid to show you true colors in real life for the same reason.

Yes, they do. I know a user of the answers community (John) in person. He is so much more perceptive in real life then on the internet... where his questions are kind of silly. ;-)

Even the worse person on Earth can come across as an angel.
We can all be whoever we want. Be as nasty as we want because it is a faceless place. Or be close without touching

I'd say they're bolder. I have friends where I live so I make new ones in different countries.... lol when your 3000 + miles away you could say whatever you liked ;) xx

yes your soo beyond right (if you can beyond right). i se it all the time even more with boys they open up online! me and my first love got to know each other as best mates through txting aswell its like you really get know popele just because they arent shy to say anything because you cant see their faces strange!
