Its an ok movie but not the greatest and especially not Eastwoods best. Come on, some whore gets cut, who cares, their already dead inside anyway. And it takes all these people to kill the 2 men that did it? In the good Eastwood movies he could do all that by himself. Give me a break. I just wasted 2 and 1/2 hours.

Definitely not one of Eastwood's best.

No offense, sir, but I think you missed the point of the movie - which is the very thing that makes it so great. The whole story is about the futility of violence. The William Munny character just wants to leave the violent life behind and live on his farm. When he hears that the corrupt sherrif has cut the woman, he's outraged. In that moment, he realizes that he can perhaps return to violence once last time in order to right a wrong. But it tears away a piece of his soul in the process.

It's a very good movie. Clint's character is not as young as he was when he raised hell. It's more about the aging west and the end of the vigilante justice than just a shoot-em-up western. Gene Hackman is brilliant.

You're obviously young. Watch this movie again when you're a little older. You'll have a different opinion then.

I totally agree with you on this one.

I tried to watch it because people had said it was all good and shite, but it was SO freakin' BORING!!!!

I had to stop watching it while still in the beginning.
