I am a huge Marilyn Fan. I admire her for all the things she went through, and overcame. Its amazing that she managed she achieve all she did with all the obvious demons she had to face.

I was named after Marilyn Monroe. In fact, my maiden name was Marilyn Morrow. I'll admit that I never had her great looks, especially the bleached-blond hair.

she came from poverty and reinvented her self into asex symbol and that is to be admired.. but once she got tot the top she fell prey to the drugs, sex and lifestyle that utimately caused her demise. It is admirable to think of her as some one to look up to, but just dont follow her path completely.. you can be yourself and still earn fame and fortune.. if you have to sacrifice who you are to stay there (as marlyn did, it aint worth it)...

I hate to break this to you, but SHE IS DEAD. She overdosed on pills, she was miserable, not a happy camper. Find some one else who is alive to emulate & admire, please!
