are you sure the baby is dropped, it sounds more like the baby is turned and pressing on a nerve. If you are in a lot of pain I would call your Dr or go to the ER just to check it out. you can not be to careful!

my sisters son did not drop until she was about 37 weeks along from what I remember and it is SO obvious I mean even little old ladies in the grocery store were like oh not too much longer sweetie that baby is low !! So if the baby is heads down and dropped allready I'd talk to a doctor I'm 26 weeks along with my second son my first was breech and I don't know that he ever really ''dropped'' because he was feet first and I had a scheduled c section on my due date ''never went into labor'' but dropping is like preparation for labor so I'd be freaking out I get weird sensations like I need to poop all the time I think thats normal!!

Maybe you have scatic, it is nerve pain in the butt region, It has happen to almost everyone that I know so I would call a doctor to see what you can do to relieve the pain, I would suggest taking a luke warm bath for 10 mins, and just taking it easy.

My baby dropped at 31 weeks, and then down to a 0 station (means baby is as low as she will go before labor starts) at 35 weeks.
Both times I felt a lot of pressure, pain, and discomfort in my pelvis as everything got used to the baby being down further.
I'm 38.5 weeks now & still preggo!!! They say if you have had previous babies your baby usually doesn't drop until labor starts- HA

My 1st baby dropped at 33wks I had her at 41.5wks
My 2nd baby dropped at 34 weeks, had him at 39 weeks
I don't think it's any indicator of when you will deliver AT ALL.

BUT I would call your dr. and go get checked just to make sure. You don't want to have your baby this early, and if you have any other signs of labor just go straight to the E.R.

Good Luck hun!
