Oh my gosh! Is this really Bono? I have been a huge fan since the old days! I saw you guys once in concert and there was so much awesome good feeling in the air that I had goose bumps the entire time. As soon as the radio announced tickets were going on sale, I road two miles on a bike w/ no seat to get tickets! I think I was 16 or 17, I waited in line for 2 hrs. You really should come back to Iowa sometime for another concert!

sometimes ido i am 58 sometimes ifeel 80 and sometimes 30 even thought i have not been in a relationship for 17 years some times i feel love from other vets , ilive at a vet center i hope to move to an aptartmenty my self, sometimes i fell abandon by family an friends, but as i have a love of at least i love and have the love of a higher power of my choice ,ive been in love many times iused to need someone to love to live life, wedont leave in a perfect world an none of us are perfect ,i lived a full and an adventureist life many people i have hurt or has hurt me ,i have different perspective on life being throught a recovery program to straighten out my life with the the help of vets,doctors, i have moved a lot of negative things out of my soul and filled them with as much positive things as possible ,even that im fifty eight my world is not over because im not a victim of the past i am a siviver im not going to gige up on life to me its a new begining ,i forgive my self from, the past and others the only way to feel love is to be able to love myself and to be honest then i can feel love love is like an onion there are different layers for different reasons frifnds, family, material things, love in nature, i will not be hurt by love again hopefully,if i stay focused , if people judge me on,age,my station in life,but to be perfectly honest if i pray to my highter of my understanding and to say hello to all my friends and relatives and to ask them forgiveness of the past and present ifell love within me , i would not give up on love happening today or nor in the future . im going to live it a day at a time. ,

A couple of months ago, I had an ex-student of mine stop by my classroom. I had him in my middle school special ed. class and he, I thought at the time, was destined for prison. He drove me nuts for 2 years. Now he is a senior in high school and in a work training program. He stopped by just to thank me. He told me I had taught him the meaning of pride in accomplishment and that I had been the only adult who had ever believed in him. Whenever his peers try to get him to do something that would get him in trouble he always sees my face. He said that the thought of possibly letting me down, stops him from making choices that might ruin his life. Then I saw another kid I taught once working at bagging groceries and I told him he was doing a great job. He stopped a moment and said "You were the one who taught me to WANT to do a good job, Ms. Friskey" Yes, I DO feel loved.
