...ah, you don't need it anyways? Hubby is fixing to get his gall bladder out and thats what the dr said, teasing really, but still kinda funny. When I had my appendix out my dr said the same thing...

You'd think, if you don't need them, they why do we have them?

It is kinda funny isn't it? Tonsils, adenoids, gallbladder, appendix. Told I didn't need any. Then why were they there to start with Doc? Guess it's just extras put in by nature. Then why didn't they include the ability to grow new ones on the ones we have Doc? Oversight.

All of our organs do serve a purpose , which is why they are there but if necessary the body can still function without some of them, although one might have to change certain things about their lifestyle to make up for the missing organ eg maybe cutting out extra fat fom ones diet to compensate for the lack of a gall bladder, etc.

good Q the gall bladder is nothing but a grease trap anyway btw mine was removed 5 years ago...!!!

For doctors to have to take them out and make the co-pay and insurance money.
