Chased by MANY roosters..... but not of the bird variation.
And yes, they can be very aggressive. However, I have found the ones from Virginia to have the sweetest disposition.

That is so funny...My youngest daughter was selling girl scout cookies door to door. The one neighbor has a mean rooster...now, this day this rooster was on the front porch and my daughter walked very slowly up and knocked on the door...she sold 8 boxes of cookies...she came slowly down the steps walking toward the truck and stopped...my heart froze...she turned around and went blah blah blah blah at that ole rooster and off the porch he flew towards my daughters back of her neck...I opened the door ran out and grabbed her shoving her into the truck and slamming the door shut. phew...what saved her is that the rooster over flew her head!!!!!! I was so angry with her for teasing that rooster.....grrrrrrrrrr

OMG I actually have. We went on my daughters field trip to a farm and there was a crazy rooster that kept chasing me around. It turned out that apparently it thought that the strings on the bottom of my jacket that were hanging down were worms. It was crazy.

Yes. When I was a little girl we had a Rhode Island Red, which we named Red. Darn thing was mean! I would taunt him though cuz I thought it was funny when he chased me. That was until he caught up with me one day and got the best of me. I got a piece of him though too!!

Years ago at my Grandparents place, I also remember my Grandma always saying " A whistling girl and a crowing hen always come to some bad end", of course I loved to go around whistling , she was very superstitious and that would really get her going!!

I haven't thought about that in years, thanks for the memories.

Nope - and I heard a long time ago that farmers have actually died from chicken scratches (it's the bacteria on the chicken feet) so I'm kinda glad I haven't.
