I just bought a 91 s10 and the sway bar or what i believe to be the sway bar is not attached. The bar runs from the a-arm to the other a-arm and right now it is only held in place by a mount on the middle of the bar. I think it needs to be bolted on each end to the a-arms. Is it difficult to re-attach the bar and are any special tools needed?

Sway bar linkage kits are available at any decent parts store and aren't that expensive. The will have a long bolt, nut, washers and rubber bushings that tie each end of the sway bar to the lower A-frame.

Sometimes they can be a bit stubborn to attach but since both of yours are gone I would hook one side up without tightening it down and then start the other side. Be sure you put a rubber bushing on each side of the a frame and on each side of the sway bar. Better yet find and s10 and take a look to see how they are put together.

Should be able to get sway bar links for it, they're not expensive, you can even check e-bay. They're easy to do, shouldn't need special tools.
