my son is 14 years old and he wants 2 job do you they are putting a petsmart down the street from us do you think he can get a job there like cleaning cages or puting away stuff ,thanks

I doubt it. Most places want the kids to be a minimum of age 16 in order to hire them. What's the rush, anyway? Age 14 is too young to be working. Let him enjoy his childhood. It'll be over soon enough.

I believe the age limit for work is 16 years of age.

Not in most states, unless they can somehow pass it off as 'farm' employment. For most locations and jobs 16 is the minimum.

Find another one in the phone book and call them & ask what
the required age limit is.
