I didn't think I was.
But then, I got a job in Nevada. In the break room, there were some girls chattering away, loudly, in Spanish. I felt very annoyed. Realized that I was thinking unkind thoughts.

I am certainly not deliberately racist, but I don't think there is a human being on earth that is totally devoid of racial prejudice.
A number of years ago, I was watching the news on television in a hotel room. It showed Somalians suffering from starvation, as well as results of civil war. Their suffering was horrible. And I felt sad for them. Then I saw prisoners in Bosnia. Reporters were talking to them through the bars. The prisoners were obviously terrified. These prisoners were answering the reporters in English: some were blond, others were redheads. Well, I felt a real fury rise up in me against those who were treating those prisoners in such a way that they should be so terrified. After a while I wondered why my reaction to the suffering of those prisoners in Bosnia should be so much stronger than my reaction to the suffering Somalians. Of course, it was because I could relate to them; they were more like me. There is a certain racist element in that.

No. I agree with multiculturalism, some type of immigration policy, acceptance of legitimate refugees, affirmative action and bilingual education. I also agree with banning hate literature and hate groups.

What I do not care for is extreme political correctness and this is coming from someone who is liberal in a lot of ways. I work with Natives who occasionally make fun of our Chinese employers. This is nothing in comparision to the very real hate that many young Quebecois demonstrated to my former Japanese employers, who were polite, generous, decent and understanding. I have little tolerance for this, and I have French ancestry. I don't agree with favouritism. In Quebec's case, it has become favouritism--demanding special treatment and more money and influence and then threatening to secede if they do not get it.

It shames me and I do believe in sending kids to French immersion. I spent time as a kid at the French-Canadian cultural centre.

No i think all races are equal. Racism is believing a race is superior to another in anyway/ or hatred toward a race. I never feel either one.

"Because I don't want to be a white cooly in my own country. 'Cause it's not our country anymore. 'Cause rich people, and powerful people brought in boat loads of human trash. Cheap labour, gooks mainly, and there's gonna be more. I want people to know I'm proud of my white history and white blood. One day it might be all I have. I don't want to go the same way as the ******' aba."

I just want you to know that I'm doing my part.
I eat racists for breakfast. I put them on my cereal.

If you make racist remarks I would suggest that you apologize, okay?
