Okay ... here's the thing! My front yard is a bunch of rocks!! It's terrible. I have huge, HUGE, rocks and little bitty pebbles that are annoying and driving me nuts. Well, I'm not very creative when it comes to landscaping and such. Can ya'll please give me some ideas on what to do with all of these. My husband says throw them in the neighbors yard! lol ... I can't do that. But we're going to try and get some grass growing here soon and I would like to use these rocks but not sure how ... any suggestions on how to use them creatively? Thanks! :o)

you must live next door to me. I have texas pea gravel..You know the kind..from the size of a pea to a boulder...You can make a rock wall. Or planter with them. Or start putting them in any lower area of your proplerty...Or find someone that would like them for a rock garden. Or needs fill..

Sounds like you've got pretty rocky soil. If you can move the bigger rocks to a central area you may have the beginnings of a water feature. Big boulders with water running down through a pebbled trough to a pool. Pretty easy to do with pond liner, a pump and the rocks that God provided. Good luck.

I had a yard once with alot of huge rocks. I rolled them to the edge of my driveway where there was a 4 ft. gap to the fence. I put them in a slight arch to close the gap, then planted a couple small shrubs, & some nice flowers behind it. It looked great. Haven't lived there for years, but when I drive past there, it's still there. Still looks good. You can use them like that, or make a border around your house & plant behind it.

this is what my husband and i did with ours, we put some in a pile and planted a rock garden, use plants like sedium, rock cress, bulbs plants. i even planted some different annuals like marigolds and begonias. just add soil with it and just keep more water than other areas.we also dug a big hole and got a tub and made a pond,we ended up using the rocks for fill in and even made a nice water fall.we're adding a spring this year if possible and we'll use the small rocks for some of that for maybe the birds. i thought maybe it would make a nice bath for them to play in.

For English eccentricity at its best, see Derek Jarman's strange but enchanting garden on the shingle beach in Dungeness, Kent. At Prospect Cottage, in the shadow of a nuclear power plant, lavender and poppies poke out behind sculptures fashioned from old gardening tools and driftwood.

You can place an add for free rocks, landscapers use them or you can use them to make raised bed gardens.

I have many raised bed gardens with rock border and they are attractive.

We also lined our long driveway with them and made a pond.
