It can mean anything. Your doctor will probably order another one to confirm that it is not a random happening, and order a culture of your urine to check if you have a urinary infection. Then he will go from those results.

Depends on what exactly was tested. They usually check for glucose(sugar) and protein in your urine at all prenatal visits. Trace amount of sugar in your urine could be caused by a sugary meal/treat before your appointment. Dehydration is usually the case w/trace protein. If your blood pressure reading was normal then don't worry. But if both your blood pressure was high and your urine protein was high, your MD would order bloodwork and a 24hour urine to rule out pre-eclapsia.
