Here are three deep sky objects:
the Helix Nebula (NGC 7293), planetary nebula
the Saturn Nebula (NGC 7009), planetary nebula
Messier 2 (M2 or NGC 7089), globular cluster

But that's only if you count planetary nebulae as deep sky objects.

Otherwise, there's these two, in addition to Messier 2:

Messier 72 (M72 or NGC 6981), globular cluster
Messier 73 (M73 or NGC 6994), asterism

The two brightest stars within are Beta Aquarii and Alpha Aquarii.

For fascinating facts, I suggest you look up those deep sky objects in Wikipedia or something.

I don't know about any nickname.

See the source. The 3 Messier objects listed are deep sky objects.
