I am so impressed with the computing power of my GPS. Is it more than that of the Apollo 13 Spacecraft?

When I say Apollo 13 I just mean the computing power onboard, not totalled with the mission control computers.

Yes. The on board computer in Apollo was not even as powerful as a hand held calculator today. It did have special programming though, to do the required job with the limited power available. It had only 4K RAM.
