The Sidekick 3 in Germany costs 49.94 Euros with a 2 year contract and the Relax 100 rate plan at 28 Euros/month. To buy it outright without a plan would cost you 369.95 Euros.

In the US, the Sidekick 3 costs $199.95 with a 1 year contract and a $29.99/month or better rate plan. To buy it without a contract (i.e. on Prepaid [T-mobile To Go]) would cost you $399.99.

49.94 Euros is $66.52 US
28 Euros is $37.29 US
369.95 Euros is $492.74 US
In Germany, it would seem the Sidekick 3 on a contract is cheaper initially but in the long run could cost more since you'd have to stick with a rate plan for 2 years instead of 1 and the rate plan is more expensive, although you get more for it and most wouldn't go with T-Mo's cheapest rate plan in the states either. If you're just buying the phone outright without a contract, it's cheaper to do so in the states.
