Besides not eating animal products what are they like?

Certainly... my best friend is a Vegan. She will never touch animal products, but otherwise she is a doll. Very sweet, kind, friendly.. a person just like you or I.

My older brother Anthony is a vegan. He was and still is a hippy. Anything unorthodox was what he was into--Vietnam war protester, took part in "sit-ins" in college, left the traditional medical field to study acupuncture which is his profession now. He even went to China for a month or 2 to study. He will not buy or wear clothing that is not 100% cotton--not sure why. And there are other quirks about him as well that are too many to mention.
This is not to say all Vegans are as "different" as he is. This is just my personal experience.
I am sure most are just like you or me --with just a different eating plan.

Too many rules about anything and everything. Very hard way to live ones life, and they can get very preachy about things. Plain Vegetarianism is much easier to do.

yup. my friend is a vegan. she is just like you or me, except for the fact that she doesn't eat animal products

My sister use to be one and get on my case for eating meat on a daily basis... but then again she was a suscribed to PETA so it figures.

yes. pretty much like everyone else, but they do get sick less. im vegetarian myself

yes...my stepfather.....very religious....very driven...he's getting older now....but a real workaholic in his younger days...very kind-hearted person
