you can add anything as long as it looks cute and your matching the style. If you like lace you can use it on anything/ if your wearing a skirt you may want to show a little lace no matter how long the skirt is I always like my skirts just above the knee the longer the skirt the sexier. You can always add nice lace to the bottom of your tanks so when you where your small leather jacket or a small nice blazer some of that lace will show it looks best with jeans. One time I used A nice slip with some tight leggings and a nice blazer over it and a thick belt around my waste and some nice heels to go with it every one was asking where I got my dress.
I have fun with style you have to play with it to make it a fashion .I love it

Yes of course. That makes your style unique. Your style is a part of you and lets others know a little about your personaility. Wear what you feel comfortable and great in!

If you were Maddona in the 80s it was trend setting. If you do it now you are going after a retro look. If that is your intention, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If you are just trying to be unique, you may find yourself looking ridiculous and out of style.
Just be smart and have fun....nothing wrong with standing out or looking retro or just wanting to express yourself....just don't embarrass yourself in the process.

There's always rules to style but in the end you have to wear what you feel best in. your gut should tell you whats right for u when you look in the mirror.
