I see a lot from liberals stating "Bush is a liar" but if he did so wouldn't the Democrats actually do something about it? Surely they would not pass up any chance to get him.

i think...over all, the innocent until proven guilty is a bunch of hype. as for Bush...and other political figures, each group has their own agenda, and if Bush (in this case) was doing so wrong, everyone would be after him. look at Clinton. he rode on the coat tails of Regan, and bush, and did NOTHING for 8 years.....except made a mockery of the white house, his wife, and family, and women everywhere...and women are the ones that kept him in office for the second term..go figure.
now, his wife is running, or planning to be in the white house again, and he will be there...day in, and day out. without possible punishment, what will he do to "love struck" interns?
he wasn't punished the first time....and he even LIED under oath.
sorry, i think i turned your question into a clinton bashing.. although, that was the first example that came to mind!

Sadly it isn't against the law to lie if it isn't under oath.

Besides the president is an especially squirmy person to tie down like that. He recieved bad intelligence that he combined with raw emotion and a spike in patriotism after 9/11 to make a bad decision.

We can't prove that he knew the intel was bad, so we can't nail him.

simple as that.

They have no solutions, so they blame Bush to take the heat off them. Being as neqarsighted as they are, the don't seem to be able to comprehend that come Jan 2008 Bush will be gone. Assuming a Dem is elected pres, they'll be able to skate on the platform of "Bush screwed up." a little longer, but sooner or later the American people will want results.

Democrats only care about talking a good talk. They make their base happy when they talk about the President negatively.

Liberals already know that conservatives and Republicans are guilty of emotional crimes against sensitive people and are thus guilty.

I'm not sure you understand the political system of the U.S. Sure, Bush has lied and made some inappropriate political moves, but that doesn't mean that the Democrats can say, "You lied; we want you out." Impeachments cannot happen because of lies.

Most of the people saying that think they have proof. It's not the kind of proof that would hold up in court, but that's a different issue.

Now, the statement "Bush is a criminal" has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. He has publicly admitted to willful violation of federal laws. His lawyers have stipulated to it in court. And it has been confirmed by the Supreme Court.

So, a public confession plus Supreme Court holding is proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The fact the some people still don't accept that, by definition, makes them unreasonable.

False premise.

Congress is the primary institution that initiates investigative hearings into the president. The Republican held congress refused to question the actions of the dirty rotten scoundrel that currently resides at the white house.

Now that there is an opposing party in control of congress, take note of the hearings into the misdeeds of the Bush admin crime syndicate.

It only applies to Democrats, silly! Evil Republicans aren't worthy of the benefit of the doubt. *Everyone* knows that!

If you believe that your are innocent until proven guilty, then why do they lock you up, before the trial, you haven't been proven guilty, but you are in jail never the less
