Well sometimes when something scary or traumatic happens we block it out and sometimes it comes back when we are ready little by little. Maybe its a filling in a tooth if you have them, I have heard of them conducting radio waves and people hearing music in their head because of it. LOL

Sounds perfectly normal to me. For somestrange reason I can see traumatic incidents in my minds eye more than others. Well, profound incidents - like the day I came home to learn it had burned to the ground - I can close my eyes and it is just like I was there!! andthemoment my daughter was handed to me (27years ago) and that too is clear as can be. Butif i try to think of the day my daughter won one of her many trophies I can't remember the details. I assume those types of memories are linked with emotional triggers. Same for music --music will sometimes trigger another thought for me. and I can sing lyrics on a song butif you ask me 5 minutes later without the music toquote the song I just sang I cant do it!! lol. interesting thought thanks for thequestion -k-

That happens sometimes, with me usually it has to do with someone I'm thinking about but can't really mentally see a picture of them anymore.

Other than that, I can recall a lot of stuff, but over time, mental pictures start to shuffle around and get stored in the furthest regions of your brain.

Hope this helps!
