I've noticed more guys hit on me when I have a boyfriend, and now that I'm single there are no guys! Except this pervy old guy that comes into where I work... he has really bad teeth and a pregnant belly.......and he smells.......but he so totally does not have an ice cube's chance in Hades...
So, alas................

Girl, you said a mouthful. I tell you since I got married, oh man. They are coming out of the woodwork, and I am weak. At least they are ugly girl, be thankful. The ones that are hitting on me are soooooo tempting. I think that it is because there is no commitment if they are just a "thing" in the jar that you take down only when you need it.

I think when a person is in a relationship, especially a happy one, they give off an air that people not in a relationship don't have. I don't know what word to put to it, but especially someone in a happy relationship, they just have a different aura about themselves, something that is attractive to people who are looking. Maybe it's like when a person's gotten a promotion and they're feeling good about themselves, it seems like they attract more attention than someone who just got fired; I think it's the same principle when someone's in a relationship.
I may not be able to explain it very well, but I know exactly what you mean. It always seems like when you finally meet someone nice, and it looks like the relationship is going somewhere, that's when you start getting all kinds of people hitting on you!

I think when you are single you are less patient. The time that goes by between getting hit on just seems longer. However, I would be concerned that an old guy with a raggedy mouthpiece and a swolen prostate thinks he has a chance.

I think they feel safe! They are really chickens, and feel protected if you are already involved or taken. So far as the old guy, yes, pass on that one!

At least the guy who is hitting on you is busted. The guys I've seen are tempting. Ohhh man are they tempting! I don't act on it though, it's hard.....harrrrddddd.
