I still believe he can compete in La Copa America and La Copa de Oro. You see Borgetti in the Paraguay game if only he started the game he would have scored more. Just watch him play in the game against Ecuador on Wed. March 28, he'll score a goal or two. Some say he wouldn't do good in the tournaments because his too old. Just look at Zidane what did he do in his last with the national team, I think Jared Borgetti can do the same. Of people say that he should retire or not be in the team then neither should C.Blanco he's just as old a J.Borgetti. Look at C.Squarez he's even older then Borgetti he is still playing great at the International Stage. I think that Jared Borgetti will be one major reason that we'll win both tournaments, he's an amazing player. Jared Borgetti will score most of the goals for Mexico. Borgetti is the one of the best soccer players from Mexico.

He's definatley not over. After the world cup I never thought he would score again for Mexico, but I was wrong becuase he scored two goals against Paraguay. In my book, he has redeemed himself for the own goal in the world cup against Argentina. Rafael Marquez redeemed himself the next game in the world cup because of the hand-ball in the game against portugal which resultated in a penalty, but scored a goal in the game against Argentina. So only one more person needs to redeem himself, and that is Omar Bravo for missing a penalty against Portugal. But yes, we'll definatley see El Zorro del Desierto (The Desert Fox) again in the copa de oro, and hopefully we'll win becuase that is his retirering tournement.
Viva Mexico y Jared Borgetti

First of all, the corner kick was from Pineda, but about Borgetti, i dont hate the guy, but i wouldnt give him too much credit, you have to see how he scores his goals. I mean those goals are harder to miss then to make. Yes he will go down in history as Mexico's top scorer, but i will always remember that he score for Argentina, and eliminated us from the world cup

He might make goals and everything.....but I think he is done. Too old man. Look at him with Cruz Azul....last game he played....he played 75mins..and nothing...they take him out and put in Villaluz and he scores and give el Chelito a pass for goal...in 15mins or less. I think all clubs and with National team should start to look into the young talent and stop relying on old players like Borgetti and have Oscar Perez as a back up is just a waste of time. We all know its Ochoa's time....so lets get real here!
