I am looking for a group of artists that don't really fall into the gangster category(50 cent, the game, old school snoop and dre, etc), or the every popular bling/self promotion category(young jeezy, rich boy, mike jones, etc..)

you better watch out common is a g, he just pretends to be happy and love everybody.
just listen to "the *****. in yoo"

and theres even more, common is a vicious beast, keep him away from your children

Tupac. Many say he was gangsta rap but thats not true. He talked about real things rather than stupid stuff.
