Tough to figure out. He may have continued to conquer other lands, staying in Rome too long always made him want to leave after a while. He was already advanced in age, 56, so my guess is he wouldn't have lasted many more years anyway. And who's to say Octavius and Antony wouldn't have had their civil war after Ceasar died peacefully, just later on? Maybe Ceasarion would have been installed as Ceasar's heir. That would have been interesting.
