Are you aloud to own a pet monkey in Australia???

Im 13 years old and i live in Australia i love animals but all my life ive always wanted a baby monkey!

no they arent i know coz i wanted one so i emaled john howard and he put me on to the right departmaent and i got a polite letter back saying no.

You do not need to have a monkey.

They can be dangerous, and they are wild animals...not pets.

Besides, Australia is very very strict on animals.

When I lived there, I had to have my dog in quarantine for 2 months before I got to see her, she had to have rabies titer tests, and health certificates, and ISO chips

Get a dog.
