I've seen the 20/20 story and heard the hype. I actually want to know if these shoes are GOOD basketball shoes. Do they give good ankle support? Foot cushioning? Will they last?

Although I don't have these shoes, the news that Marbury wore them in an exhibition game and hurt his ankle, makes me say don't buy. Not the best rep for his cheap product when he can't even last a full game in them. I would go for something with better ankle support, even though the Starbury price can't be beat.

Do they spend on research? No. Nike does...I don't believe that these shoes would be as "hot" as 20/20 portrayed them if it wasn't for Starbury or whatever his name is. It's called marketing!!!...Trust me, once these shoes get enough of their market share, they'll be as expensive as Nike, they'll come up with new styles claiming this and that. Hey, some products are made for certain markets...and for now, these shoes are trying to gain their share by targeting young kids with the NBA dream. Why don't you ask a NBA player to wear a Starbury instead of Nike? Believe me, they won't. :) Good Luck!!
