I've asked and people say to adopt newborns look into local hospitals and such, and I was wondering how you got in with the hospital to possibly adopt one of the babies that are left at the hospital or that their parents have lost rights. And my parents are foster parents and have many older children but would like to adopt another newborn. They adopted me from newborn too, but my adoption was arranged before I was born. Thinks in advance for your help.

Babies left at the hospital wind up being placed with approved foster parents, first temporarily, and them permenantly if the mother decides she doesn't want the baby.
You must apply to be a foster parent and follow their requirements. If a birthmother decides to make a private adoption plan (even if she already gave birth) and chooses parents, that would qualify as a private adoption. There is a difference between the two. Please have your parents contact their local foster care chapter. They will probably have to take classes and be homestudy approved. Good luck!

the best way is to start with your county social services deivision. Tell them you are interested in adoption, and they will go from there. Also you can check with Catholic Social services. CSS handled my adoption.
