It not just in the NCAA tournament but in the NIT as well. UNLV getting a 7 seed are you kidding me?!?!? Then they prove them wrong by going to the sweet 16. UCLA not a 1 seed won there division so proves them wrong too. Air Force not getting in the NCAA tournament but now in the final 4 of the NIT. USC deserved a 3-4 seed not a 5 seed either they were a good team. Nevada getting a 7 seed is also BS because they were a top 10 team and got a 7 seed. It just seems like the comitee made a mistake in not taking so many good teams into the tournament from the west and underrated alot of teams in the west. Santa Clara didn't make the NIT tournament either sort of makes me angry because they were a solid team all year long and deserved that bid.

UNLV was screwed no doubt, they should have been in the 3-4 range. UCLA lost in the first round of their conference tourney while Kansas won the big 12 tourney. If UCLA won their conference tournament they would have been a 1. USC was seeded right where they deserved to be. Air Force probably deserved to be in but they did lose their last 4 and lost to Wyoming in the first round of the MWC tournament, if they beat Wyoming they would have made it. Nevada probably should have been a little higher, but there were so many teams that were just as good as each other. You really could make a case that from 4 seeds to 10 seeds there wasn't much of a difference in team strength. Making the bracket could have caused certain teams to move a seed in either direction.I think the fact that all high seeds made the Elite 8 and Final 4 proved that the committee actually did a very good job this year.
There were a lot of snubs for the NIT, but no one remembers who wins that anyway so not really a big deal.
