I went into a Starbucks in Monday morning. The busiest morning of the week. Everyone is looking for that coffee high on Monday. It was around 7am and crowded. There were about 4 people working. The line moved fast the workers got orders right and people getting there coffee. Even the disgruntal customers with morning attitude went out the door with a smile. The workers were so professional. When it got to my turn I was greated with a smile and fab service. My experimented and got a seasonal coffee flavor. It was great. Thanks to them I was simi happy to be worker at my crap job for the day. Two points for Starbucks on the very cold and rainy morning in April of 2004.

The best-- Sorry, I can't think of any particularly outstanding events. The worst-- In Los Angeles, I once went to a Starbucks for lunch at 11 am and all of their sandwiches had already sold out! Is this poor planning on their part or what?

Also,I once went to a Starbucks bc they were promoting free ice cream (and even listed the "participating stores")-- when I got there, the employees including the manager were clueless.

I always got the feeling that Starbucks employees couldn't care less about basic customer service. A big disappointment.

The last time that I went to a starbucks I was standing in this huge line minding my own business and everything was ok until it was my turn and I took out my money to pay I paid the girl but I accidentally dropped a 20 dollar bill, when I went to pick it up a lady was faster than me and she picked it up and claimed it was hers!! I could not believe that that well dressed older lady could do that, I just looked at her and looked at the man that she was with and said nothing, but inside I was mad!!

The day they forgot to make my coffee. I know that sounds strange but they were very apologetic and gave me a coupon for a free beverage on my next visit.
