That was the whole point of the scene! He could have done her, but he stopped himself. It shows that he was becoming free. That he was no longer the automaton that society sometimes turns us into. Yeah, he had a sick obsession, but where did the obsession come from? Don't movies portray young beautiful women with older men all the time?

I did find the obsession sick but then again you have to realize there are men out there who have had those thoughts so in many ways it is very close to real life.

sick would be anyone under the age of 16....Chris Hansen is having a great career bustin those perverts...under 18 is just illegal and rightfully so..I find the female teacher's having sex with elementary and junior high school boys much more disgusting
